Currently the Department has six SUN workstations, together with about 120 PIII
or PIV PCs, which are housed in three computer rooms. Software for editing
(Word, Excel, Tex), mathematics computation (Maple, Mathematica, Matlab, Visual
C++, Fortran) and statistics (SPSS, SAS, S-Plus, etc.) are also available.
There are links between the network of our department and that of the College of
Science, ¡K
A
good collection of over 15 thousand mathematics books and 300 mathematics
journals can be found respectively in the fourth and ninth floor of the Main
Library.
